So the plan was to go to Mt. Rainier yesterday with the fam. Well the weather said rain so we really didn't want to go play in the wet snow in the rain. So we decided to go to Mt. St. Helens which was calling for snow. Well we got all the way to the top as far as you can go and there was nothing. Little clumps of snow here and there but nothing you can really play in. The views were very pretty so it was well worth it, but the kids were really bummed because they were expecting to play in snow. All they got out of it was a 7 hour drive and about 10 minutes in a tiny amount of snow...lol. I felt bad! We are planning on going in the next couple of weeks to Mt. Raineir and hopefully that will make up for it. I know they would have had so much more fun playing with their cousins in it though. I enjoyed the trip though and we got some great pictures too.
