So we rang in the new year as a family. We had so much fun. We watched a movie, played some games, ate lots of junk food, and toasted with a little bubbly (well sparkling apple cider but close enough)!! We really have never let the kids stay up all the way to midnight with us. I don't know why, but I guess I just felt like this year should be different. Now we have started a new tradition. The kids really enjoyed it and got to see what it is all about. Breanne was so confused. She was asking "so is tomorrow going to be January 2nd"? She just didn't get it.
