Lightning storm

Sean got some cool pics from our storm that we had yesterday. Just thought I would share them. We all sat and watched the whole storm. The kids had so much fun!

Doctor appt. 9 weeks 1 day

Today I had my doctors appt with my new doctor. She was awesome!! She did another u/s so this makes 3 so far with this pregnancy. Yes, I am soooo lucky. I once again got to see the heartbeat and the baby started moving. It was so cool to see because I didn't know that the baby moved this early on. How awesome is that. I get to go back in two weeks. She is watching me closer until my second trimester and then she will back off at that point. I am so happy that I decided to switch doctors. It was WELL worth it!! I am really happy with her. I think I like her better than any OB/GYN I have ever had! So that is the update as of today. YEAH for a healthy baby!! :-)

Soccer Games

Cam and Breanne both had a game this morning. It worked out really well it was one right after the other. They both played awesome. Cam had a really hard team to play against. It was a fun game to watch though. Both teams played well. It was still 0-0 at half time. By the end of the game the other team won 2-1. I think we did great. Bre's team dominated most of the game. Then the other team came back around at the end and tied it up. So her game was 7-7. They both won their first games. This is such a crazy time with practice 4 nights a week plus 2 games a week. I love it watching their games though. It is so fun. I enjoy it over here so much more because in Oly it was raining for a lot of the games and we would have to sit out in it. It doesn't do that much here so our odds are good. Here are a few pics Sean got of the kids playing.

We are expecting #3!!!

August 12th we found out we were pregnant. To our surprise!! We have been through a rollercoaster of emotions with getting pregnant the last year or so. We have had 3 miscarriages and had decided that we were done. I didn't want to put my body through that 1 more time. The kids are getting older everyday and that was another reason for our decision to stop. Well God had other plans for us because here we were prego again. Of course at first I was terrified to go through another miscarriage which I was pretty sure would happen. I started going to the doc right away and getting blood work taken to make sure my numbers were ok. They were normal everytime. Then about two weeks ago I started spotting. I called my doctor right away and they didn't seem to concerned. I just knew this was the beginning to the end. I had prepared myself that whole week that I would miscarry. The following week I got an u/s. Monday the 25th of Aug. I thought for sure it wouldn't be good. Well to my surprise we saw a heartbeat. I was so excited to see that. :-) The baby measured 6 weeks 1 day and the heartbeat was 133 bpm. I measured a little bit behind what I thought so it scared me a little. I really tried not to let it get to me. So after that my doc called for another u/s and more blood work. So that is what I did yesterday. I made Sean go with me this time cause I really wanted him to see the heartbeat. It was nothing but wonderful news. The baby measured perfectly to how far along I thought I was. The heartbeat was 170 bpm. We got a picture too. I was so excited to see the baby was growing and still doing good. So my due date is April 18th. Of course I know things can still go wrong but at this point I am feeling a lot better about things since we have seen the heartbeat twice. We have finally told the whole family and friends now. We plan on telling the kids very soon. We just are waiting for the right time. We are so excited and feel very blessed that God has given us this opportunity again. First day of school 2010/2011

Oh my GOSH!! My kids are in 4th and 2nd grade. My first real year I remember is 2nd grade. I can't believe how fast time is flying by. We went to open house last night. It went really well. I like both of their teachers. I feel like they both are totally into volunteers so I will get to be at the school a lot. I think both kids like their teachers also. Breanne's teacher actually asked me last night to volunteer today. I was so excited to get to be there on her first day of school. Her teacher last year never ONE time asked me to volunteer even though I offered more than once. So I am really excited about this school year. The kids both seemed happy when I dropped them off. I know Cam was really nervous. I think more than Breanne was. Breanne actually knew a couple of kids in her class from soccer. Cam didn't. I know he will be just fine and have a great day. I know he is going to meet some really great friends. The last several days have been so crazy. Just trying to prepare for school starting. I took the kids to the pool yesterday for their final swim for the summer. It was really hot out so it was a great thing to do before school started. They have soccer practice M-Thurs every week with games on Saturday. So it has been very busy. I love being a mommy and I wouldn't change it for a thing! :-)

Weekend of fun!

My friend Marika and her 4 kiddos came over last weekend. It was a lot of fun. We spent most of Sunday at the pool. All the kids had a blast!

Silverwood Theme Park

Last Tuesday and Wednesday we went to Silverwood Theme Park. We told the kids that we were going shopping far away. We packed up the car and left early. We told them that we might stay in a hotel on our way back because we would be to tired to drive back. We stopped at the hotel on the way there to get the tickets to the park. It was a package deal with the hotel. I went in to get them and then we drove to Silverwood. As we were driving up the kids were like wow that looks cool. Oh hey that is Silverwood....lol. They have seen the commercials. Anyway it took them a minute even after we drove into the parking lot to figure it out but they did. They were so excited that we were there. We had a lot of fun. Cam went on his first upside down rollercoaster. I was so proud of him. I really didn't think he would go on it. He gladly did and then was pumped and we went on it again and again. LOL. He was willing to go on the biggest one there but he is so short for his age that he ended up being to little. I was bummed. If we decide to go next year I think he would be able to go on it then. They have a big water park and then the other side with all the rides. It was a lot of fun!! I got very few pictures which is weird for me but the camera was in the locker almost the whole time. Sucks but thats ok. The last picture is the view from our hotel room. We were on the river in Post Falls, ID. It was really pretty!
