Rocks-4-Sale

Today the kids decided it would be fun to smash up a bunch of rocks. No biggy I just figured it would entertain them for awhile. Well then it turned into a big sale that they thought they could make money on. Here are the pics to show for it. Breanne made this sign to sell them. The second pic is of her and her friend trying to sell rocks. They would hold up this sign that you couldn't see at all and yell rocks for sale as people would drive by...lol. It was soooo funny. They had fun and it entertained them for hours so I guess that is a good thing. We were just cracking up because it was so funny.

Thanks Hye Ran

Outside fun!!

Spring is finally here!! We have had such beautiful weather lately and I am loving it!! It was almost in the 70's today. The kids have had half days all week so we have gotten to enjoy the weather more. I can't wait for summer now. I am looking forward to the kids getting lots of time outdoors to play with the neighbors. They have really made a lot of friends here. There are kids every where and they all go to the same school. It is pretty fun for them. Here are some pics of the kids playing outside and just some pics of me messin around. They turned out pretty cool though. :-)

Another weekend away :-)

So last weekend Sean had an interview in Ephrata, WA (Eastern WA). Since Josh and Jill live up there we went down Thurs night and stayed the weekend there. It was such a beautiful weekend so our drive down and our drive home was awesome. We ended up going to Leavenworth on Saturday which we have never been there before. It was a really cool town. We have to go back again because we didn't get near enough time to spend there. We were there for 3 hours and still missed a ton of the stores that they have. The kids seemed to enjoy it and so did we. We left from there and came home so that we would have Sunday to relax a little. I can't believe that we might actually be living there. I would love the weather change and scenery also. It is really pretty out there and totally a place I would love! We are really hoping Sean gets this job!!

Happy St. Patty's Day!!

The kids got all decked out for St Patrick's Day including Sean. I will have to try to get a picture of all 3 of them tonight with their stuff on. Sean just left for work before the kids were all ready. Fun Fun!!

Up in smoke!!

This weekend was quite an eventful one. Saturday the Oly FD planned to burn a house down and use it for training purposes before the full burn. They set up a viewing area so we could watch the whole thing. It was really cool and a great teaching/learning experience for the kids!! We watching until pretty much just the outside walls were standing and then I came back and took a picture when the whole thing was down.

Afterwards my mom was here to go skating with us. She hasn't been skating in a long time so I was really worried about how she was going to do but she did great!! Everything was great up until the last ten mintues when she fell. I came up on her right after. She was having trouble breathing and in a lot of pain. I was really scared!! I hated seeing her hurting so bad. I finally talked her into going to the ER on the car ride home. She decided that she was in enough pain that she needed to go. We found out that she fractured her vertebrae. No wonder why she couldn't breathe!! Well she has been staying with us since so that I can care for her. My mom is very independent so she isn't letting me do very much for her. It is making me crazy. She should be resting but she just doesn't want to. I am just hoping that her back heals properly so she doesn't have permenant problems in her back. I think she will heal ok but the doc said about 12 weeks of not bending over or lifting. Let's hope she follows through with that and really babies it. That is what she needs to do to heal properly! It was a stressful and crazy weekend. We really did have fun skating with her though. I am glad it wasn't worse. After all the craziness you realize how much worse it could have been so she really was lucky.
